The basic idea behind 1x has always been to gather the finest photos on the Internet in one place.
To further secure the exceptional quality of the 1x gallery, all uploaded photos will from now on automatically be submitted for curation. The photos will of course still be saved in the photo directory as usual. We are implementing this change to encourage more high quality uploads and to make the process easier to understand. This means that the number of photos you can upload every week are as follows;
FREE member: 1 photo.
PLUS member: 5 photos.
PRO member: 10 photos.
UNLIMITED: Unlimited number of photos.

1x is primarily a gallery for curated photos. That is why we have implemented the change that all photos will automatically be sent to curation. |
 | René Vlayen The old system was OK. If I may say so, you'd better take care of the curation process.
It is so vague and wrong, espacialy the matter of the 'unique' views which are not unique at all.

We would like to encourage members to upload photos to weekly theme, that also would have a chance in curation. We think this will lead to even better photos in Weekly theme. The nude filter works the same as it always has. |

My opinion is , uploads to be 2 photos per week , for free member. One photo will be for weekly theme.

we want to make the system easier to understand and avoid different kinds of uploads. Weekly theme is full of wonderful photos and many are well worth to be curated. That is why we have implemented this system for now. |
